The Out of the Blue Art Gallery is proud to sponsor this art reception and party of painter, Julia Kanno-Fahy of Cambridge, Massachusetts (right in the heart of Central Square!)  Julia Kanno-Fahy is most definitely a local Cambridge painter and mother who delves into the culturally diverse aspects of human nature and behavior.  Her portraits are rich and express several moods and situations that she depicts from real life and aspects that challenge one's survival and compassion.
 
In this particular series, as an artist and a woman looking into the deeper aspects of one's instincts, she put created portraits, some real spirits, some from her imagination, that reflects the soulful nature and decisions that humans must make from time to time based on life's circumstances.  She enjoys delving into the lives of those from more challenging backgrounds, from multi-cultural walks of life, people who are surmounting horrifying situations and finding peace within their challenges.
